OUR STORY
His Story
The Bride- Gorgeous, caring, competitive, and fun are just a few words to describe her. She is always up for a good time and willing to do anything new. She bleeds orange and blue from head to toe and willing to go to war for any of her friends. She would take a bullet for her two best friends, Janelle and Cheney. Introducing her to the Great Outdoors has been one of my greatest accomplishment. I never thought she would like it, but she loves it. Hunting and fishing are two of our favorite things to do together and she usually catches bigger fish than I do. On September 5, I get to make this beautiful girl my wife and I can’t wait!!!
Her Story

I had an awesome day fishing on lake Catherine with Daniel, Cheney and my brother in law Chris. Cheney and I were the only ones to catch fish. Chris caught a stingray and Daniel caught…well Daniel didn’t catch any fish that day, but he ended up with the catch of his life!
We had a fishing trip and a shrimp boil planned, as Chris had never been to Louisiana. We often talk about using the extra bait to go crabbing and that day was no exception. My mom and Dave drove in from Baton Rouge for the boil. It was a pretty evening and the sun was setting over the Tchefuncte River. If you know my mom, you know that it is not abnormal for her to have her long lens professional camera on hand and it’s even less abnormal to have a random photo shoot. I didn’t know it, but I was walking right into a trap, literally. On the pier was a crab trap that had been placed in the water. Daniel and Chris had a bet going that he didn’t catch any crabs. Of course I wanted to see for myself. As I pulled up the trap there was a piece of wood inside that said, “will you marry me?” I turned around to Daniel on a knee and my mom in paparazzi mode. It was a perfect moment for us and I am glad I was able to share it with family. The rest of the night was filled with good food, Louisiana music and better company.
Daniel is the life of the party, the jack-of-all-trades, has a HUGE heart and can talk to anyone or anything for that matter (as long as he is doing the talking). He is in his element when he is outside. Like my grandfather, he is a very skilled wood maker. He can build and fix anything! And even though he often over cooks my steak, he is a phenomenal chef. We share a passion for football, hunting and fishing; however, it’s up in the air as to who is the better fisherman. I am looking forward to a beautiful day in September when we say our vows in front God, friends and family, dance and be merry!
